Clicking for the Scale to Win Dialer

What is the Clicker?

In order to ensure compliance with telecommunication laws, some campaigns and organizations are required to have a “manual selection” step for every cell phone number they wish to dial. That is, some organizations need members to “click” or “approve” each cell phone number they wish to call before the dialer will allow them to call these numbers.

* "Clicking" (manual pre-approval of all or certain types of phone numbers before dialing them) may be required depending on the purpose of your calling and relevant law and regulations. Always ensure compliance with the law and consult with your legal counsel for additional information.

Note: If there are any cell phone numbers in a list, clicking must be done before you start the campaign. Your campaign status will remain “Stalled” until all of your cell phone numbers have been approved.

How to Click for the Scale to Win Dialer

In order to start making calls, you need to "click" to approve the cell phone numbers in your list by using the clicker link. Clicking is part of a telecommunication regulation that requires manual approval before any cell phone numbers are eligible to be called. You can hold down "enter" on most browsers after you navigate to your clicker link, but you need to click to request a new batch each time you move through 500 numbers on this page.

When you're done clicking through your phone numbers, you' can start making calls!

The clicking process is very simple. You access the “Clicker URL” from the “Start/Run Campaign” Page.

When you open up the link, you’ll see this “Request numbers” button:

Click the request button and you’ll get a batch of up to 200 phone numbers to click through.

Click the green “Approve ID” button—or tap the spacebar or “enter” key on your keyboard—over and over, to ‘approve’ each of the numbers.

Once you’ve clicked through the whole batch, you can request another by clicking the “Keep approving assignments” button.

When there are no more numbers to approve, you’ll get a message that it’s complete. Good work!

How to Turn Off Clicking

Clicking can be a bit frustrating, but federal regulations around manual approval have recently changed, so we've given users the ability to turn off clicking entirely! To do this, go to your Settings page and scroll down to "Clicking Requirement" section shown below.

You'll see a legal disclaimer once you select "do not require clicking" which we encourage you to read. If you decide to fully turn clicking off, this won't impact any existing campaigns. You'll need to make a copy of your current campaign and then re-upload your contact list. That campaign will completely bypass clicking.

More Information About Clicking

  • Timing: The organization with whom you’re working can have clickers complete this clicking process anytime: it can be done weeks or days before they make phone calls on this ‘calling campaign,’ or right before.
  • Frequency: You and your fellow clickers only have to click a phone number to load it into a call campaign once per call campaign.
  • Process: All numbers must be clicked before you can begin calling on a particular campaign. If there are any numbers that need to be approved, the campaign status will remain “Stalled” until all numbers have been click approved.

Thanks so much for clicking and making these phone calls possible!
