The Texter Information Panel gives texters information they can use while handling replies.
You can choose to show:
- Texter Guidance: Custom instructions, background, or other information texters may need.
- Event Information: Details from the Event connected to the campaign. This can include the Event name, type, date and time, description, RSVP link, and other Event details.
You can show either one or both. Event Information is only available when an Event is connected to the campaign.
Setting Up the Texter Information Panel
To set up the Texter Information Panel on a campaign:
- Create a campaign.
- On the Basics step, scroll to Texter Settings → Information for Texters.
- Choose what you want texters to see:
- Turn on Show texter guidance to add custom information. Enter your guidance in the Texter guidance text field.
- If an Event is connected to the campaign, turn on Show event information to show the Event details to texters.
- Continue setting up your campaign.
Note: You can add or edit Texter Guidance after a campaign has started. You can also turn Texter Guidance or Event Information on or off at any time. When you copy a campaign, these settings and the Texter Guidance copy over too.
View the Texter Information Panel
Texters can view the Texter Information Panel from the DETAILS tab in a thread.
- Open a thread and select DETAILS.
- View any available Texter Guidance or Event Information below Contact Details.
Note: If Event Information is enabled, texters can expand Event Information to view the details for the Event connected to the campaign.
